Minimum to small abrasions are typical of exterior condition, but these units will have no deep cuts, chips or common tears in lower accordion section making them a best choice for a repair or restoration project.
Backside metal anchors will typically have rusty areas, but will be solid and firmly anchored in rubber.
Bumper ends of this quality have an above average preserved rubber finish that will polish up to a beautiful, glossy luster with either plastic polish or a soft buffing wheel.
Caution: Buffing wheels create heat on plastic surfaces which can burn through factory finish which, in most cases, can not be polished out afterwards. Unless well experienced with polishing plastics, it is advised that only hand applied plastic polish be used to restore much of the factory gloss inherent in these best preserved 40 year old bumper ends.
