| Space for the alternator is very tight with this swap, so a Subaru Justy 55-amp alternator, with a custom mount was adapted for use with this swap. The Subaru alternator is 2/3 the size of the OEM alternator and is made by Hitachi (the same manufacturer for the Nissan unit) and actually uses the same plug as the Nissan unit. |  |
